Who we are looking for:
Atkore is searching for a Financial Analyst to join our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team in our Harvey, IL location.
This person will lead the monthly consolidation and business unit reporting as well as manage the weekly forecast process.
This position will report both to the Sr FP&A Manager for S&I and will liaison with corporate financial staff, as required.
What you'll do:
Coordinate, manage and prepare monthly consolidated financial reporting for the S&I business unit.
Coordinate, manage and own the weekly flash forecast.
Manage the S&I Corporate department and develop the budget and monthly forecasts.
Document and develop standard tools for the forecast, budgeting, and reporting processes.
Develop and proactively drive process improvements to eliminate waste in the reporting tools.
Provide sound financial analysis and develop tools and models to support decision making across the S&I business unit.
Support fixed asset capital spending and tracking requirements.
Provide sound financial analysis on certain business drivers and ad hoc projects as necessary.
Partner with the broader finance team to help standardize financial reporting, planning and analysis.
Work as a member of the team with other Atkore finance leaders and support global finance initiatives.
What you'll bring:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

years progressive finance experience.
Experience with Hyperion or similar consolidation systems.
Strong Excel and business intelligence tools a plus.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
Must be able to handle multiple tasks at the same time and work across multiple entities and functional areas.
Capacity to perform at a high level in a fast-paced environment.
Customer focus - dedicated to meeting expectations and requirements of internal and external customers.
Excellent communications skills with the ability to work within a team or independently.
Within 3 months, you'll:
Complete your Atkore immersion program.
Understand how your job will help deliver Atkore's strategy.
Gain an understanding of your team.
Within 6-months, you'll:
Coordinate, manage and prepare monthly consolidated financial reporting for the S&I business unit.
Manage and own the weekly forecast process.
Manage and own the S&I Corporate department closing and forecasting process.
Document processes and implement standard work.

Collaborate with Finance leadership team to meet P&L, productivity, KPI and working capital targets.
Within 12-months, you'll:
Provide analytical and accounting and reporting ad hoc support.
Create, maintain, and update reports, training materials and documentation.
Develop and proactively drive process improvements to eliminate waste in the reporting tools.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
